Langtang valley trek combines Langtang Valley and Gosaikunda Lake with additional 3 days hard trek up 5500m Yala Peak. You don't need any technical skills to climb this peak and there is no requirement for climbing permits or fees. After a drive from Kathmandu, you follow the Langtang Valley route up to Kyangjin. Spend a day exploring Kyangji before heading east through the valley and a slow climb up to the high pasture at Yak Kharka.
Early next day, trek up to Yala Peak and hope that your prayers has be answered with a clear weather for a breath taking view deep into Tibet. After another night in Yak Kharka, you make a slow descend back to Kyangjin via Lanshisha and to Syabru before joining the Gosaikunda trail and back to Kathmandu.
