Siklis Tara Hill Trek

Siklis Tara Top trek is in the middle hills north east of Pokhara and in the shadow of Annapurna II, Machhapuchhare and Lamjung Himal. After a short drive from Pokhara you trek up to Siklis, possibly the second largest Gurung village in Nepal. It falls within the eco-route designed by Annapurna Conservation Area Project and is considered a model village with well preserved examples of traditional culture and heritage. A short walk from here will take you to a view point called Rishing Danda for a marvellous panoramic view of annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. The forests here is also particularly good for bird watching and Rhododendrons during March and April. From here the trek ascends to Tara Hill before descending down to the road to be driven back to Pokhara.
