Everest Base Camp Trek

Chulu West Peak Climbing

The two peaks of Chulu mountain lie north of the pretty village of Manag on the Annapurna Circuit trek. Both Chulu East and West peaks are technically challenging climb requiring basic knowledge on the use of climbing gears such as crampons, ice axe and ropes. Of the two, Chulu West is much easier and can be climbed if you are fit and quick to learn the climbing techniques. The summits are covered in snow most the time and all the Annapurna peaks as well as Dhaulagiri and Manaslu can be viewed from the top. We have included the climb to the Annapurna Circuit so that you take full benefit from this wonderful trek as well.
